State Offering Reward for Information in Brownsville Arson Investigation
BROWNSVILLE – It’s been nearly a week since Brownsville families were left homeless due to a suspected arson fire.
The state is now getting involved; posting signs around the neighborhood asking for information on the suspect, or suspects, as well as offering a cash reward.
Lisa Ruiz has lived in Brownsville for nine years. She tells us they had started repairing their home before the fire.
“It hurts me, because the suspect didn’t realize the damage this created,” said Ruiz.
The Brownsville Fire Marshal’s Office is asking the public for any pictures or description of anyone who may be a suspect.
