GARCENO - The suspect in a Thursday shooting investigation has been charged. 

Alejandro Barron is charged with murder. 

A shooting Thursday in Garceno, between Rio Grande City and Roma, left Arturo Gomez Jr. dead. 

Starr County investigators say a group of people drove Gomez to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

According to investigators, the group of people are cooperating.
