Severe weather moves across the Valley
A severe thunderstorm made its way across the Rio Grande Valley Thursday.

AEP Texas and Magic Valley Electric Cooperative are reporting a combined 12,134 outages across the Rio Grande Valley as of 1:45 a.m. Friday.
According to the First Warn 5 Weather Team, flood warnings remain in effect for southern Hidalgo County, and Cameron and Willacy counties.

The National Weather Service listed a report of a tornado in Edcouch tornado as a “brief touchdown at Highway 107 and 2 Mile Road. Some damage to structures.”
Widespread flooding has been reported across the Valley.
