SAN PERLITA – What can be considered the smallest school district in the Rio Grande Valley is now making news.

With no budget or technology, San Perlita High School junior and senior students decided to launch a weekly newscast and radio podcast that will cover academics, sports and events.

“All the creativeness from writing the scripts to editing and all the kind of things you can ever add,” says student Parker Willis, “all that comes with creativity.”

KRGV"s Rick Diaz spoke with the school's administration who has showcased their support since the beginning.
