The McAllen Police Department is searching for a hit and run driver that left a San Juan man hospitalized.

David Moore was on his moped when he was hit earlier this month on the Frontage Road near the South Texas Buick GMC dealership.

The 62-year-old victim said he was knocked unconscious and broke multiple bones.

He's had multiple surgeries since the accident.

McAllen PD does not have a description of the suspect’s vehicle, but those with information on the case are urged to call them at 956-681-2000.
