RIO HONDO- The Rio Hondo lift bridge will be closed to traffic for four hours Monday as TXDOT crews work on a repair.

In a press release, officials said the closure will take place from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m.

Crews will be working on the roof of the control booth.

Past rains caused a water leak that is very close to the bridge's control panel.

The repair does not have anything to do with the bridge's structure itself.
