MISSION – Funeral services are pending for fallen State Trooper Moises Sanchez.
Sanchez’s patrol unit has been parked outside the highway patrol office for anyone who wants to pay their respects.
Sanchez struggled to recover for more than four months after he was shot on the job.
The alleged shooter, Victor Godinez, remains jailed on a $3 million bond.
He's currently facing three counts of attempted capital murder of a peace officer.
The Hidalgo County district attorney said he will upgrade one of those charges to capital murder.
Godinez is expected to appear for a pre-trial hearing on Oct. 24.
