Ahead of the new school year, the Region One Education Service Center is set to host its Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering and Mathematics Community Night.

The event aims to expose young minds to science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

The free event is set for Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Region One Education Service Center building, located at 1900 W. Schunior St. in Edinburg.

Community members looking to attend are encouraged to RSVP online.
