RAYMONDVILLE – Raymondville police are preparing for a new sweep for junk cars.
Officers will start citing cars that are broken down or not registered in city neighborhoods.
The owners will have 10 days to remove the car from their properties or get them up to date. If not, the car will be towed.
Police said a similar sweep last summer was successful and brought in over 20 cars.
The sweep starts on Saturday, February 11th.
