The Palm Valley Animal Society is asking drivers to be on the lookout for several stray dogs that are on the loose after being dumped at the shelter in Edinburg.

PVAS, Edinburg police and animal control are all in contact after someone dumped 10 dogs by the shelter location.

The incident happened on Friday and the dogs range from small to medium. PVAS was only able to catch three of them.

The shelter is setting up food and water stations to attract those dogs. PVAS director says the goal is to get them off the streets and away from cars.

They said a majority of the dogs are easily frightened, so if people do see them, they should not try to chase them.

If you see these dogs by Trenton Road, call PVAS at 956-720-4563.
