PSJA wide receiver Caleb Salas signed on to play at Eastern Texas Baptist University on Wednesday morning.

Salas helped lead PSJA to the district championship during his junior and senior year.

Over the course of his career, he totaled over 2,000 career receiving yards and 25 career receiving touchdowns.

He took home a first-team all-district nod as one of the top wide receivers in the area.

"It's a big blessing, not that many people get to go play collegiate football so," Salas said. "Especially being in the valley, being able to go up there and play collegiate football, it's a really big honor."
