PSJA offers families virtual learning option
As the new school year kicks off for many kids across the Valley, one district is taking a significant step to give parents and students the option of virtual learning.
Enrollment for virtual learning is now open for families in the Pharr- San Juan- Alamo Independent School District.
“We wanted to provide all of our parents the option,” PSJA Chief Academic Officer Dr. Rolando “Rudy” Treviño said, adding that while the district’s priority is in-person leading, providing a choice is essential.
PSJA officials say they’re keeping a close watch on Texas Senate Bill 15, which would make remote learning easier for school districts.
