HIDALGO COUNTY - Increased DWI patrols are happening in at least two areas of the Valley. Mission and Harlingen police both announcing it is increasing patrols for intoxicated drivers.
Harlingen officers will be focusing on patrols in high risk areas. The extra rounds will be conducted during times when alcohol-related crashes are most common.
The DWI enforcement will end January 1, 2020.
