The Pharr Police Department has identified the male motorcycle driver who died following a crash Thursday night.

63-year-old David Mann, of Alamo, was the motorcyclist who died from his injuries sustained in the crash with a Buick SUV on Owassa Road and Frontage Road, according to Pharr police spokesperson Michael Martinez.

Martinez said preliminary investigation revealed Mann disregarded the left turn only signs, resulting in the crash. Mann died at the scene, and the female driver of the SUV pulled over and contacted 911.

Martinez said no criminal charges will be filed.
