SAN JUAN – The lines began to form outside the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle long before the sun rose.

Thousands came to see and touch the relics of a Catholic priest who became a saint.

Padre Pio is best known for bearing the stigmata of Jesus, meaning the wounds on Jesus’ body appeared on the body of the priest.
