PALMVIEW – The Palmview Fire Department will soon offer emergency medical services.
The department passed their licensure certification for mobile intensive care unit capabilities. This means firefighters will know techniques used by paramedics.
The new certification will let the department use a new ambulance along with their fire trucks.
Right now, firefighters are learning how to become trained paramedics.
