An animal rescue shelter in Palmhurst officially closed, Channel 5 News has learned.
As previously reported, a judge ordered Franklin All Animal Rescue Team to close after founder Jesus Meave was found guilty of violating several city ordinances.
Over the years, the shelter faced multiple complaints ranging from bad smells to the noise from the dozens of dogs, pigs, cats and rabbits there.
The rescue shut down on Friday, Jan. 31.
Channel 5 News learned that the animals at the rescue were all either adopted or fostered.
