Owner of Burglarized Pharr Sports Complex Speaks Out
PHARR - Pharr police are actively investigating a weekend burglary at a sports complex where thousands of dollars worth of gear and equipment were stolen.
"Somebody entered through the right side of our building and stole a bunch of equipment from our kids."
The owner of Elite Sports Performance Complex, Ryan Richardson, tells us the people responsible stole much more than $7,000 worth of gear and equipment.
They stole opportunities from kids.
"I had to let them all know that you know there stuff was taken and to see there faces.. I mean it was... hard," says Richardson.
Without the equipment stolen, his volleyball team’s next moves are uncertain, but they're not giving up.
Pharr police have released a picture of a white and maroon vehicle they say the suspect left in.
If anyone has information they are asked to call Pharr Crime Stoppers line at 956-787-8477.
