Overgrown Trees Covering Stop Signs on Hidalgo Co. Roads

NEAR MISSION – People living in the outskirts of Mission say they want overgrown trees covering some stop signs to be trimmed before someone gets hurt.  

Connie Rodriguez lives on the corner of Mile 7 1/2 and Glasscock roads. She says part of the problem is that the stop signs aren’t perfectly visible.

“We’ve had times when we’ve called in authorities because somebody just keeps going through,” she says.

KRGV’s Christian Von Preysing contacted the county about the issue.
