RIO GRANDE CITY--One person was killed after a crash on U.S. 83 east of Montalvo Hill and Rio Grande City.
     The crash happened Friday before 9:30 p.m. According to DPS, the driver of a white mustang lost control and crashed into a brushy area.
     The driver was taken to the hospital. The passenger, identified as 19-year-old Victoria Garza of Rio Grande City, died at the scene.
