A new subdivision that will soon house hundreds of people in Mission is set to be completed next year.

The property off of Frontage between Glasscock and Shary Road is over 70 acres and will soon house a new apartment complex.

The project also includes building a new street that connects Glasscock Road.

"It's a great opportunity for growth in our city, for families to move into our city and then of course individuals to relocate to our city,” Mission City Manager Randy Perez said.  

Construction workers will begin clearing the land on Monday, Nov. 14.

The project is expected to be completed by June 2023.
