EDINBURG – The Department of Public Safety announced their new Driver License Center will open its doors to the public.

The center, located at 5160 N. Interstate 69C, will open at 8 a.m. on Monday, according to a press release.

Features of the new building include 12 processing workstations with the ability to add an additional 12, upgraded technology and lanes designated for commercial driver license testing.

The office will also offer services via cell phone, landline or online.

DPS encourages customers to take advantage of their website and online services to register for driver license/ID renewals or address changes, if they are eligible.
