WESLACO – All of the Weslaco ISD schools, except for one, will be open for classes next Monday, Aug. 27.

F.D. Roosevelt Elementary, located on East Plaza Street, will not be open on time, according to Weslaco ISD Superintendent Priscilla Canales.

The 521 students will be sent to different locations for class.

Canales says parents will be notified of where the children will be sent.

The school is still waiting for a loss report to determine when it will reopen.
