HIDALGO – More than $1 million in narcotics is now off the streets.
CBP officers found the marijuana and cocaine bundles inside a trailer and a commercial bus on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
Both were separate incidents.
CBP officers assigned to the Hidalgo International Bridge found more than 100 pounds of alleged cocaine inside the bus.
Later that same day, at the Pharr International Bridge, CBP discovered more than 2,000 pounds of alleged marijuana hidden inside a shipment of vegetables in a trailer.
Both cases are still under investigation.
