NEW YORK – A student at the McAllen Independent School District will perform New York's historical Carnegie Hall.
Vicente Camacho, 14, was nominated by a former Nikki Rowe High School orchestra director.
Camacho was accepted into the Juniors Honors Orchestra in the 2019 Middle School Honors Performance series.
The program features elite student musicians from across North America as well as distinguished conductors.
