MCALLEN – Families in a McAllen neighborhood want to know if their irrigation canal caused more flooding.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS spoke with a homeowner who is unhappy with flooding issues and blames the canal for these problems.

The Hidalgo County Irrigation District No. 1 Canal connects to the Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1 Canal.
