LAGUNA HEIGHTS – A man and a woman in the country illegally have been charged in the murder of a 29-year-old found dead inside a trailer home.
Miguel Angel Aguilera was found murdered earlier this month.
Forty-year-old Nelson Orona Santiago and Gloria Rueles Sanchez each now being held on a $1 million bond.
The Cameron County district attorney explained their bond was so high, because they are a flight risk.
Officials confirmed the victim was the father of Sanchez’s children.
