SOUTH PADRE ISLAND – A man wanted in a stabbing case out of South Padre Island was arrested Tuesday. 

Billy Ray Autrey is charged in the March 12 incident that happened on the 100 block of East Ling Street.

South Padre Island Police Chief Randy Smith says the victim went to the hospital and underwent surgery as a result of his injuries.
