WESLACO - A local Islamic center says they are praying for the victims of Friday’s shooting in New Zealand.

“We are heartbroken, it's not just against Muslims it's against humanity,” says one person at the center.

The center says they plan to help the victims’ family with a donation.

The Department of Homeland Security says there is no credible threat to the U.S. at this time, but officials are remaining vigilant while sending their condolences.
