LA VILLA – Police believe pets stolen in the La Villa area are being used for illegal activity.
La Villa police are still investigating the situation since there isn’t any concrete evidence.
KRGV’s Christian Colón spoke with local residents to get their feedback on this.
“If this is really happening, then it is wrong, very wrong. I hope we could find out what is really happening,” explains La Villa resident Juan Lopez.
Assistant Chief of Police Victor Garcia says this kind of crime could end up as a felony, depending on the severity of the crime.
He says they are continuing to look for answers.
