Jury selection in Godinez murder trial expected to last a month
The jury selection process in the capital murder trial of Victor Godinez is set to last at least one more month.
Godinez is accused of killing Moises Sánchez — a trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety — in 2019.
Before Godinez’s trial can begin, the court has to go through the pool of more than 300 potential jurors, according to Judge Letty Lopez.
