SAN BENITO – Plans for the historic Stonewall Jackson Hotel in San Benito were announced Monday.
The San Benito Housing Authority bought the building in 2013.
Yvette Nieto, executive director at the SBHA, says even though their vision is to turn it into a mixed-use building, funding is slim.
The agency plans to turn the first floor of the building into a restaurant. She says the other two floors will be rented lofts.
