EDINBURG – A Rio Grande Valley trooper with the Department of Public Safety remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition after being shot by a suspect over the weekend.
The shooting happened Saturday night in the McAllen-Edinburg area.
Hidalgo County Emergency Medical Services quickly transported the trooper to the hospital.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS spoke with the team of paramedics who answered the call.
