Gov. Greg Abbott to hold roundtable discussion in Cameron County
Gov. Greg Abbott will be in Brownsville on Wednesday to discuss the Texas economy and supply chain issues.
Abbott is expected to deliver remarks at the Port of Brownsville Wednesday, March 30 at 4:30 p.m., according to a news release from the governor’s office.
The remarks will be streamed in this article and in the KRGV Facebook page.
He will be joined by leaders, staff, and stakeholders from the port sector, the release stated.
The Governor will also deliver the keynote address at the Marine Military Academy General H.M. Smith Dinner at the Harlingen Convention Center. After his remarks, Abbott will be presented with the Iwo Jima Leadership Award.
The award is presented by the Marine Military Academy to an individual who has consistently displayed the core values of the U.S. Marine Corps—honor, courage, and commitment – according to the release.
