RIO GRANDE CITY – A Georgia inmate is facing charges in the Rio Grande Valley.

Juan Garay-Garcia Jr. was arrested in 2011 and later convicted on charges of importing aliens for prostitution, conspiracy to harbor, and harboring aliens.

He just finished his federal sentence and was arrested by the Rio Grande City police department on Friday.

Garay-Garcia was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault. He currently remains in custody.
