MCALLEN – An investigation is underway following an accidental shooting at a motel in McAllen.
A man who often stays at La Copa Inn wants to know why the property doesn’t have signs to prohibit weapons.
Michael Rendon believes signs should be posted on the premises.
"I think everywhere (they) should have it. Public places should have it. But really, that's not going to stop somebody,” says Rendon.
KRGV’s Frank McCaffrey reached out to the motel to address the issue.
