McAllen ISD students will have the chance to win a car, but they have to have perfect attendance.

It's part of a new partnership that was announced Thursday between the district and Sames Auto Group.

Students who have perfect attendance for a six-week period during the semester qualify.

“At the end of the school year we'll draw finalists, and after the finalists have been selected they'll receive a special reward from us,” Sames Motor Company CEO Evelyn Sames said. “But at the end of the school year then we will draw one lucky student to win this beautiful car.”
