A male motorcycle driver died following a Thursday crash in Pharr, according to police.

Officers with the Pharr Police Department responded to Owassa Road and the southbound lane of frontage road at around 8 p.m. Thursday in reference to an accident involving a White Buick SUV and a motorcycle, according to a department spokesperson.

The male driver of the motorcycle died at the scene of the crash, police said, adding that the female driver of the vehicle pulled over and contacted 911.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, police added. 

Police continue to investigate the crash.
