WESLACO – Fake licenses and fake passports are being offered on social media which could provide a way into the country or into another state.  

People with fake Facebook profiles can trick users into becoming part of the crime.

The ‘Passport and License’ Facebook page claims you can get both with just one call or text.

KRGV’s Angelo Vargas made a visit to one of the addresses listed on a license on this page.

The apartment manager told us the photo of the person did not match any of the renters.

Department of Public Safety Lieutenant Johnny Hernandez tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS those who participate could be charged with tampering with government documents and forgery.
