The Elsa Police Department was spotted investigating an active scene near an apartment complex.

Elsa police were spotted at the 300 block of West 3rd Street near the Los Vecinos apartment Complex Tuesday evening.

Channel 5 News was at the scene and spotted what appeared to be a body covered in a white sheet.

Channel 5 News was told no information would be released regarding the scene until Wednesday morning.
