DONNA – One driver has been charged following an accident that sent three people to the hospital.

Thirty-two-year-old Christian Gamez is now charged with intoxicated assault and DWI.

The accident happened at the intersection of Goolie Road and Frontage in Donna around 11:00 Tuesday night.

The driver of the car involved had to be cut out with the Jaws of Life.

Two other people inside the car were taken to the hospital with minor to serious injuries.

Gamez is being held on a $50,000 bond.
