DONNA - The city of Donna announces the Donna –Rio Bravo international bridge will soon handle commercial vehicles.

The city of Donna says those commercial vehicles will not only bring goods to and from Mexico, they'll also bring new jobs to the Mid-Valley and new opportunity for revenue.

Every time a truck crosses south, the city makes some money.

When this bridge was built in 2010 it was designed with big-rig traffic in mind.

But so far only personal vehicles have been allowed.
