WESLACO – A local daughter says she hopes information posted on digital billboards will help find her missing father.

Danielle Sekula says her father was reported missing in April of 2016.

Sekula’s father is one of thousands of people missing in Texas.

CEO of nonprofit organization Texas Center for the Missing, Beth Alberts, says they started using digital billboards to showcase missing persons.

"The goal is at least monthly and perhaps more often we will feature a missing person on the billboard," says Alberts.

Sekula says she hopes her dad is one of the people on the next digital billboard.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is the lead agency in Sekula’s case; they say there are no updates and the investigation continues.
