WESLACO – An alert ahead for people traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday. Many will be hitting the road this week and thieves along with them.

Authorities say thieves are now hacking fuel pumps while people are still standing by their vehicle.

Crooks are stealing credit card information wirelessly using card skimmers and Bluetooth technology.

In some cases, they may be sitting in a vehicle a few feet away.
