For some Rio Grande Valley veterans, the struggle continues year round.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS spoke with a veteran who says the transition from war to civilian life is tough.

Rogelio Aleman tells us he didn’t know about a veteran crisis line at the time.

He tells us how he is overcoming the struggle and that he wants his fellow brother and sisters in arms to know help is here in the Valley.
