MISSION – Another hurdle for a nonprofit group looking to secure the border along the Rio Grande Valley.

The group We Build the Wall was invited by a local private landowner to build an 18-foot-tall fence on his property. The project would be privately funded.

We Build the Wall is forced to hit the pause button on construction again. It was first asked by the International Boundary and Water Commission to stop the work because of flooding concerns.

The National American Butterfly Association had asked the courts to get involved. On Tuesday, the courts granted a temporary restraining order.
