EDINBURG – A recently convicted killer will find out on Monday if he will be freed on bond until his sentencing.
Fabian Paredes was found guilty of killing Joshua Sanchez last week.
Paredes shot and killed Sanchez during a road rage incident. It happened in front of the Hidalgo County Courthouse in 2017.
Defense attorney's argued after his conviction, he should be let out on bond because of health issues. Paredes' legal team also argued their client was not a flight risk.
Paredes will be sentenced in December.
