EDCOUCH - She came back home to take care of her mother, then she re-opened the old family restaurant.

Maricela Gonzalez is the owner of Gigi's Restaurant in Edcouch.

“We've had this since I was five years old. So I basically grew up here. We sold hamburgers, burritos, ice cream cones, everything," she says.

Gonzalez says of course there have been some changes and improvements, but she is making sure the memories of her parents are kept alive.
