MISSION – Plans for the Madero International Bridge are moving forward in Mission.
The city says they plan to begin the construction in January of 2027.
Mission Mayor Armando O'Caña says the city hopes to have the bridge fully operational by Jan. 1, 2032.
These plans are based on whether the city receives a presidential permit extension in 2021.
