CBP Seizes Over 1600 Pounds of Marijuana at Pharr International Bridge
PHARR – U.S. Customs and Border Protection found more than 1,600 pounds of alleged marijuana in a trailer.
It happened at the Pharr International Bridge on Monday.
A white 1995 Volvo tractor-trailer was referred for secondary inspection.
CBP officers seized a total of 1,659 pounds of alleged marijuana worth more than $330,000.
An investigation is being conducted by Homeland Security Investigations.
